DEPARTMENTS
Meet the departments serving San Andreas, learn what they do, and find opportunities to join their ranks.
LOS SANTOS POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Los Santos Police Department is the primary local law enforcement agency serving San Andreas, committed to public safety, professional policing, and service throughout the city.
LSPD consists of three specialized sub-divisions and offers a wide range of certifications recognized statewide, giving officers opportunities to expand their training and specialize throughout their careers.
As a leader in law-enforcement development, LSPD provides top-of-the-line training for officers across the city, regardless of department, helping maintain a consistent standard of professionalism and preparedness.
VESPUCCI MEDICAL
Vespucci Medical is recognized as a center for advanced medicine and emergency healthcare within the city, providing critical care and professional medical services to the people of Los Santos.
Its medical staff work closely with government agencies across the city, routinely providing the medical support, emergency response, and healthcare services needed to keep their personnel and the wider community safe.
From urgent response to continued patient care, Vespucci Medical stands at the center of the city's healthcare network.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
The Department of Justice serves as a central institution of government in San Andreas, supporting the fair administration of law and the proper operation of the city's judicial and legal systems.
Home to a wide range of public officials and legal professionals — including the Mayor's Office, judges, attorneys, and other government personnel — the department works to ensure that laws are interpreted, applied, and upheld through established legal process.
From court proceedings and legal representation to government oversight and the administration of justice, the DOJ works alongside law enforcement and other public agencies to protect due process, maintain accountability, and preserve the rule of law throughout San Andreas.
PARK RANGERS
The San Andreas State Park Rangers work in close coordination with the Los Santos Police Department, serving as a specialized law-enforcement presence throughout the state's rural, wilderness, and protected areas.
Their primary mission centers on fish and wildlife enforcement, conservation, and protecting the natural resources of San Andreas. Rangers help enforce hunting and fishing regulations, respond to incidents involving wildlife, and patrol areas that often fall beyond the reach of traditional city units.
Park Rangers also assist with patrol operations above the county line, providing law-enforcement coverage across remote roads, parks, trails, and backcountry areas while supporting other agencies when additional resources are needed.
Whether protecting the public, preserving the state's wilderness, or responding where the pavement ends, the Rangers serve as a vital link between public safety and conservation.
LOS SANTOS BORDER PATROL
Los Santos Border Patrol operates under Homeland Security and is responsible for securing the primary point of entry between the San Andreas mainland and Cayo Perico.
Border Patrol maintains control of the mainland–Cayo Perico tunnel checkpoint, screening travelers and vehicles, enforcing border regulations, and investigating suspicious activity moving between the island and the mainland.
Agents also conduct regular patrols throughout Cayo Perico and may coordinate with the Los Santos Police Department during joint operations, investigations, or incidents requiring additional law-enforcement support.
Don't expect a friendly neighborhood traffic stop. Border Patrol agents are strict, direct, thorough, and unapologetically nosy. If you've pulled up to their checkpoint, they're going to ask questions — and there's a good chance they're already irritated that you made them ask.
